Description of Appropriate use:

This slide is entitled “Demonstration in Teaching” where it outlines the basic and fundamental method of classroom demonstration for a suitable learning environment to occur.  The slide uses different types of graphic animation upon clicking and integrates embedded video for the prayer.  If the video will not play or problem occur during playing; just click directly the file video of the slide.

The good features of the slide presentation are:

§  Eye friendly Theme color or designs – it helps to catch up the attention of the students to stimulate their curiosity.

§  Proper choices of Font – the font color should be in contrast to the theme color; it should be a big size and noticeable to the audience.

§  Graphics, images or pictures – the slide must have graphics and images which serve as the abstract connection to the messages or the text of the presentation.

§  Animation – each slide, pictures and words or text should be in an animated style to stimulate strong attention and curiosity of the students.

Which of these features are present in the slide you made?

All features mention above are present in the slide that I had made; not to mention few additional advance features such as video integration; personal theme design and uncommon font rendering.

Which features are not present in the slide presentation?

As per my answer above; no features were absent on my slide presentation; but if we are going to base the features of a good slide presentation in this book (FS-3) it should be deemed that the feature of “proper citations” is missing in my slide presentation.

My Reflection / Insights

What difficulties, if any, did you encounter in making the slide presentation? How did you overcome them?

The difficulties that I had encounter in making the slide presentation are the following:

§  Sources of the information – the information found in the internet are vast; some of them are not reliable and fake.  In my case, I had taken my sources to the proper and legitimate sites such as the online encyclopedias (Wikipedia; Britannica, etc.,) and online books or ebooks.

§  Integration of the video file – I experience difficulty in this area because some of the video codec are not compatible with Microsoft Power Point. To overcome this problem; I converted the video codec to MP4 or FLV codec.
